SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police have arrested a man who found out how difficult it is to drive while in handcuffs.

It started at around 5:30 A.M. Wednesday when the man crashed his car into a police cruiser on Northwest 21st Street.

He kept on going until he slammed into another vehicle. The impact of the crash pushed the man into the back seat of his car. Officers couldn’t get him out of the vehicle so they handcuffed him and left him there.

But while they were checking on the driver of the second car the man crashed into….he somehow managed to get back into the driver’s seat and tried to drive away while in handcuffs.

He crashed…once again. This time into some railroad tracks on Culebra.

He was taken away in an ambulance and is facing several charges.

The driver of the second car he hit suffered some bruises and is doing fine.
